Studio City Regulations

Short‑term rentals are permitted in Studio City under Los Angeles’ home‑sharing rules, but investors must register annually with the city, collect/remit TOT, and may need a business tax registration. Whole‑home STRs face a 120‑day per‑year cap for non‑hosted rentals and compliance with safety and reporting requirements, while enforcement and penalties are active but manageable for committed investors.
