Moses Lake Regulations

Short‑term rentals are allowed in most residential zones with a clear, step‑wise licensing path (STR endorsement plus city and state business licenses) and a standardized inspection. Requirements are specific but manageable: occupancy/parking limits, local contact rule, and periodic reinspection, plus progressive enforcement with no cap on total STRs. Overall supportive, but not laissez‑faire—moderate permitting, fees, and rules keep the grade in the B range.

The city anchors the Moses Lake Micropolitan area, which includes all of Grant County and is part of the Moses Lake–Othello combined statistical area.
