Challenging to Investors
STRs are confined to a few commercial/professional zones and limited to a maximum of three sleeping rooms, requiring multiple permits (city, county, state) and a local agent who must respond within two hours. Coupled with a $50 per‑violation penalty and permit revocation after three infractions, the compliance burden is sizable enough to be challenging for investors.
