Mount Gretna Regulations

Palmyra explicitly permits STRs across most residential uses with clear, well-defined rules and a known permitting process, but requires multiple licenses (county hotel tax, state sales tax, $500K liability), annual non‑transferable permits, a 24/7 local contact able to respond in one hour, safety devices, sewage‑tied occupancy caps (2+3 up to 15), and inspections that can suspend operations (especially for pools), creating moderate compliance effort and ongoing operational constraints.
