Challenging to Investors
STRs are legal under New Jersey law, but the town’s STR-specific ordinance details (permit, fees, inspections, caps, enforcement) are not available in the provided sources, leaving investors to assume compliance without verified local rules. The tax and insurance requirements are straightforward, yet uncertainty around zoning and municipal permitting heightens compliance risk, pushing the rating toward the challenging end of the spectrum.
