STRs are permitted statewide as public sleeping accommodations; operators must submit a plan review to the county sanitarian and obtain licensure/registration, which involves moderate permitting and inspections but is a known, manageable process. No city caps or explicit bans were identified, and the city’s tone is neutral/supportive, making compliance a regular hurdle rather than a deterrent.
