Challenging to Investors
STRs are explicitly allowed but face strict operational constraints—500-unit township cap, 180-day annual usage cap, 3–28‑day rental windows, occupancy capped at 10, no exterior signs, parking limits, and septic inspections—and require layered compliance across state, township, and city levels with multiple permits, fees, and inspections.
