Challenging to Investors

College Park Regulations

STRs are allowed but require two licenses (City single-family rental license + County STR license), inspections at both levels, and detailed documentation including HOA approval, neighbor notifications, and $1M liability insurance. The owner-occupancy requirement and layered approvals increase investor risk and complexity, making the regime challenging rather than truly friendly.
