Ipswich Regulations

STRs are permitted citywide and no separate business license is specified, but a mandatory Certificate of Inspection tied to the Mass State Building Code is required with periodic inspections (780 CMR 110), adding moderate permitting and ongoing compliance. There are no explicit caps, though Ipswich is updating bylaws (especially regarding ADU STR use), creating some regulatory uncertainty.
