Challenging to Investors
Short‑term rentals are allowed but tightly regulated through a capped STRH permitting regime (48 permits in Paia‑Haiku CPA; 77% already used), with strict operational, compliance, and reporting requirements, plus emerging legislative constraints and property‑specific eligibility for condos that may not apply to single‑family homes.
