Challenging to Investors

Lagrange Regulations

STRs are legally allowed in the county (and the city is advancing rules), but investors face heavy constraints: a county-wide cap of 12 permits per year, strict separation (2,640 ft) and occupancy limits, owner‑present and rental‑day caps (175/92), multi‑stage approvals (SUP $500) with inspections, a 24/7 local contact, and strong enforcement (penalties/revocation for complaints). These hurdles substantially elevate compliance burden and investor risk despite clear legality.
