Short‑term rentals are allowed with standard state licensing (DBPR) and county taxation (5% Tourist Development Tax), but no local prohibitions, caps, or highly restrictive city rules are evident. The burden comes from moderate permitting, inspections, and compliance tracking, which is manageable for investors.
