Challenging to Investors
STRs are legal in Mancos but face strict constraints: a hard cap of 15 annual licenses citywide, a $750 non‑renewable business license fee, mandatory inspections, proof of insurance, and local ownership or on‑site residency requirements depending on zone. These elements raise cost and complexity and limit viable stock, making the environment challenging for investors.
