Challenging to Investors
Short-term rentals are likely permitted but lack specific city regulations, creating uncertainty for investors who must rely on state and county rules and conduct additional due diligence. The absence of clear local permitting frameworks, combined with rural compliance complexities like fire safety and environmental regulations, creates moderate barriers that could deter some investors despite no apparent prohibitions.
