Sierra Vista Regulations

Short-term rentals are explicitly permitted statewide (A.R.S. 9-500.39) and Sierra Vista imposes only moderate licensing and safety requirements (business license, Arizona TPT, $250 local permit cap, $500k insurance, neighbor notification, 30–45‑minute response), with no meaningful caps or citywide bans. Enforcement is clear and the tone is supportive, but the insurance mandate, notification, and response obligations add some operational complexity.
